Tree crickets groom themselves frequently. Females are light green. This species have deep red Note the all white face. This differs from Texas tree cricket. Most have a single black line on the front of the first two antennal segments. Nymphs have a reddish strip down the center. This 3rd instar nymph still displays the reddish strip.
